S/V Wonderful will be cruising the historic Lycian coast in Turkey this winter. Based out of Bodrum she has over 700 miles of coast line at her disposal and within range during a week on board. Stops during a 1 or 2 week cruise will include Gekova bay, Bosburen, Marmasis, Fetiye, Gocek and Antalya and ofcourse, Bodrum and surrounding areas which is known as the Turkish Riviera.
Conditions at this time of the year vary from summer like, to winter like. Expected temperatures for the Christmas and New years weeks are between 9 and 15 degrees at night and 18 - 27 degrees during the day. Sea temps remain around 20- 22 degrees and there is always a chance of rain but no more of a chance than in any other country, including the Caribbean !
Wonderful is fully equipped with central heating and now has a full surround, which completely closes the cockpit so we can continue to serve the chef " Elizabeth Lee's " Turkish delights in the cockpit, even if the temperature drops.
The Jacuzzi steams away on the bow all day and through the evening and combined with easy access to several Turkish baths, we can promise you as healthy and spiritually renewing vacation in a country that is waiting to accommodate you.
